If you have medical aid coverage, it implies a contractual agreement between you and your medical scheme. It is your responsibility to understand the terms of your coverage, including limits, benefit levels, and treatment exclusions. - Consultation Fees:
While there is no standardised "Medical Aid Rate" or "Reference Price List" for practitioners, our consultation fees are very reasonable. However, there might be a difference ("gap") between what your scheme covers and our charges. - Aesthetic Treatment Costs:
Please be aware that medical schemes typically do not cover aesthetic treatments. However, if your treatment addresses a medical condition such as migraines, reimbursement may be possible based on your scheme's policies. - GP Consultations:
We do not process claims with medical aids for GP consultations. Kindly settle your account during your appointment. - Additional Testing:
If any special tests, such as blood or urine tests, are required during your consultation and are sent to an external lab, there will be an additional cost charged by the lab provider. - Procedure Costs:
For procedures such as skin lesion removal, there will be additional costs beyond the consultation fee. Please contact us for a detailed quote. - Appointment Preferences:
For initial consultations, we prefer face-to-face meetings. Subsequent follow-up appointments can be arranged via telephone if necessary, and they will be charged at the standard GP appointment rate. This includes electronic delivery of prescriptions or sick certificates if needed.

Muse Wellness utilises a system called Health Access to streamline patient registration and consent processes. As a patient, you will be required to register and fill in your details through this system. Additionally, you may need to digitally sign any relevant consent forms linked to aesthetic treatments or general medical consultations. - Communication:
While email communication is convenient, it may not be suitable for very personal, urgent, or emergency matters due to the limitations of security and confidentiality. For urgent or personal inquiries, please contact us via phone. In case of a medical emergency when immediate assistance is required, please proceed to the nearest emergency department.PLEASE NOTE:

- Appointment Cancellation Policy:
We kindly request that you cancel your appointment at least two business days (48 hours) in advance. Failure to do so may result in a charge equivalent to 50% of the appointment fee if you do not attend. - Access to Medical Information:
